GRAND FUNK RAILROAD KICKS SOME MAJOR ROCK AND ROLL BUTT!!!!
The new song was KILLER! where CAN I get that record!
The more I see GFR, the better they get. They are a tighter, compressed unit, that has the Wattage to have broken down the Berlin Wall! These guys are LOUD!
Tim was up from an 'ON.' Don was kickin' that kit into the ground! Mel was blastin' like foghorn cuttin' through thick fog. Max's range is superb, as always! Bruce must have cables strung on those guitars, cause no strings could live up to the punishment that he gives his instruments!

What a Great show and the New song was FanFunkintastic!!
the show I saw was Great and the crowd was into it. Mel's bass was so loud I could feel it in my chest and the few times I did sit down.. Well.. I could feel it elsewhere too!
All the guys were giving 110% the whole nite. they put on a great energy packed show

YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! here's what I think
of the new tune....I was jumpin' up and down....literally....Mel's bass had me bouncin' in my seat , the VOCALS are full and rich, sweeping, Bruce's guitar work stands out, and Don's drumming is VERY reminiscent of "the old days" with the way he rolls across the toms....I LIKE IT. It's DAMN GOOD. If this is the direction of GFR now, I'm buyin' a whole slew of CDs when they come out for Christmas presents!!
BRUCE had a STELLAR nite, people. Bruce let it ALL out of the bag, and just RIPPED from the word go, a six-string assault on the senses all nite long
SB (Star Spangled Banner)/TAPS/ILO (Inside Looking Out) got an INCREDIBLE ovation from a small place like Clio Amphitheatre....you shoulda been there!!
MAX CARL turned it on, too. MAX was MAXIMUM CARL last nite
Tim Cashion was UP IN THE MIX, his HAMMOND B3 program in particular, has got the BALLS that "used to be there" in years past, with FOOTSTOMPIN' MUSIC in particular.... This guy not only has got the girls swooning, he's become a FAN FAVORITE
Don was havin' a ball last nite, just ripped it up, from one end of the set to the other, beatin' the hell outta those drums
Mel he has become a DYNAMIC PRESENCE on stage, dancing, strutting, showing the WORLD....he is, INDEED, THE GOD OF THUNDER

All I can say is one word. WOW. Wait until you hear Sky High it is the bomb that is going to put them back on top and announce that GFR will be a force to be reckoned with.
They had people on their feet from the opening chords.
Mels bass was so in your face. I was sitting 8 rows back and the legs of my pants were wiggling from the sounds coming from the amplifiers.
Max, Don, Mel, Tim and Bruuuce were at their peaks last night. A truly awesome show.

From the first note to the last you could not have had asked for a better show. The music was flawless and the crowd was great, jamming to every note of every song played.
Max was right on with his voice and Bruce gets seems to get better every time I see him, which I contribute part of that to the Les Paul I see he is now using on a lot the songs, Tim was great, Don was..... well he was Don could you ask for any better, MEL well what can I say you could hear him, see him and feel him which is how Mel is supposed to be.

Clio was a blast.
For those of us who haven't heard the guys since the Palace, all I can say is WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!! I was in front of Mel and now I know what people meant that you can feel the base thumping against their chest. It was .....words fail me.
Excellent show and loved the new song.
